1) What This Policy Covers
This Cookie Policy explains how Rizer Inc. (“Rizer,” “we,” “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on rizer.io (the “Website”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
When we use cookies and similar technologies on public pages, we act as a Controller.
2) What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?
- Cookies: small text files placed on your device by a website.
- Local/session storage: browser-based storage.
- Pixels / tags / scripts: snippets that measure usage or deliver functionality.
We refer to all of these as “cookies” in this Policy.

- We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals:
- In the US → treated as opt-out of sale/share.
- In EEA/UK → treated as do-not-track for analytics/ads.
5) Analytics: Google Tag Manager (GTM) & Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) via Google Tag Manager (GTM):
- In the EEA/UK, GA4 runs only after consent.
- Google Signals and Ads Personalization are disabled by default and only activated if you consent to Advertising.
- GA4 data retention = 14 months (per Privacy Policy).
- Transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and the Data Privacy Framework (DPF).
- We may use Google Consent Mode to respect your choices. Consent signals (analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) default to “denied” in the EEA/UK unless you consent.
6) Do We “Sell” or “Share” Personal Information?
We do not sell personal information.
- If we enable advertising features that qualify as “sharing” under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), we will update this Policy and provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link.
- We already honor GPC signals.
7) Cookie Durations
- Session cookies: expire when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies: last for a set period (e.g., GA4 cookies up to 24 months).
- Exact durations appear dynamically in the CMP.
8) Managing Your Cookies
- Cookie banner / CMP: adjust consent anytime by category.
- Browser controls: most browsers allow blocking or deleting cookies.
- GPC signals: honored automatically where applicable.
- Google Analytics: you can also use Google’s browser add-on or ad settings to opt out.
