Does Rizer replace Gong?
No. Gong is a conversation intelligence platform built around recorded calls and rep coaching. Rizer analyses your HubSpot lead and deal history to explain lost revenue. Most customers keep both.
Gong already has deal and CRM analytics. Why not just use that?
Gong's deal analytics are built around conversation signal on open pipeline: engagement, activity, and risk on deals it has calls for. That is genuinely useful, and if your losses all have calls attached it may be enough. Rizer is aimed at the other half of the picture: closed-lost deals and disqualified leads, including the ones with no call, no meeting, and three lines of notes. It ends in department-owned fixes and a callback list rather than deal risk scores. Run Gong's closed-lost view first. If it answers your question, you do not need us.
Do I need call recordings for Rizer to work?
No. Rizer works from the records already in HubSpot, so it covers losses that never had a call attached, including leads disqualified before a deal was ever created. On most teams that is a larger share of lost revenue than people expect.
Our loss reasons in HubSpot are messy. Is that a problem?
That is the normal starting point. Rizer reads the surrounding history rather than trusting a single dropdown, and shows you where the recorded reason and the actual pattern disagree. Clean loss reasons are an output of using it, not a prerequisite for it.
Why not just build a HubSpot report, or export closed-lost to a spreadsheet and ask ChatGPT?
A HubSpot report can only group by the closed-lost dropdown, so it tells you what reps typed, not what happened. A spreadsheet export plus a chat model gets closer, but it reads the records you happened to export, has no view of stage movement, competitor fields, email and note history, or the leads that never became deals, and it produces a different answer every time you ask. Rizer runs the same analysis against your full history on a schedule, keeps the evidence trail per finding, and ends in a callback list rather than a paragraph.
We run on Salesforce, not HubSpot. Can we use this?
Salesforce support is on the roadmap. Rizer runs on HubSpot today because the analysis is built around how HubSpot models lead and deal history, and doing that properly per CRM is the work. If you are on Salesforce, talk to us now and we will line you up for it.
How do we know the analysis is not just guessing?
Every verdict is traceable. Open any loss driver and you get the individual deals and leads it was built from, the fields and history that produced the classification, and the cases where Rizer disagreed with the reason a rep recorded. Check the evidence on a handful of deals you remember personally before you trust the aggregate. That is the review we ask new customers to do first.
What does Rizer get access to, and does it write anything back?
Read-only HubSpot scopes covering contacts, companies, deals, and associated activity. Nothing is written back to your CRM, no fields are created, and no records are modified. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and is never used to train shared models. We are mid-SOC 2 Type II and will send the current report and our sub-processor list to your security team on request.
How long until the first real answer?
Connecting HubSpot takes about 15 minutes and is a standard OAuth flow. The first analysis runs against history you already have and comes back the same day, typically within a few hours depending on how many records you are bringing. There is no data collection period to wait through.
What does it cost?
Annual pricing scales with the size of your sales team, and it is a line item rather than a procurement cycle. Current tiers are on the pricing page; if your setup is unusual, the audit call ends with a number.
